Apple MacBook Air 13 256Gb 2019 Silver (MVFL2)
The new MacBook Air is even thinner and lighter, with a Retina display, Touch ID, next-gen keyboard and Force Touch trackpad. And it is presented in three colours - silver, gold and "gray space".
Four times more pixels than on the HD display, with a more detailed and strikingly realistic image. The display displays 48% more colours than the previous generation, so the image becomes brighter and livelier. The display glass occupies the entire surface from edge to edge of the frame, and the frame itself has become 50 per cent thinner.
Touch ID technology is now also integrated into MacBook Air. It protects your personal information and makes it accessible only to you. Simply place your finger on the Touch ID sensor and the Mac unlocks. In the same way you can instantly open password-protected documents, notes and system settings. You will not need to enter any other passwords. Shopping online has also become easier: select Apple Pay when you place an order and pay with one touch. You do not need to enter the delivery address and payment information, and card data are not sent anywhere. With Touch ID, your personal information will be strictly personal.
The Apple T2 Security Chip, a second-generation chip created by Apple specifically for Mac, will provide even more reliable data protection on MacBook Air. When you use Touch ID to unlock your Mac, open documents and pay for purchases online, your information is kept safe. All data stored on your SSD drive is automatically encrypted immediately. The Apple T2 Security Chip also supports "Hello, Siri" on MacBook Air. Your voice assistant is always ready to open an application, find a document, play music or answer all your questions.
The next-generation keyboard on MacBook Air has a 'butterfly' mechanism, so the keys react to touch four times more stable than the 'scissor' mechanism. As a result, the response speed is higher and typing is more comfortable. Thanks to the individually illuminated keys and the ambient light sensor, text can be typed comfortably even in low light.
The Force Touch trackpad is able to recognise many commands, pinpointing the slightest differences in the force of pressure on the surface. At the same time, any Multi-Touch gestures can be made on the entire surface of the enlarged trackpad.
The new MacBook Air weighs only 1.25 kg and is capable of many things. The eighth generation Intel Core i5 processor easily handles everything from reading emails and browsing websites to creating Keynote presentations and editing videos in iMovie. With up to 16 GB of memory, you can work in multiple applications at once, and an SSD of up to 1.5 TB, you can instantly open applications and store multiple documents, photos and videos.
MacBook Air runs for up to 12 hours without recharging to be useful from morning to night. Check your mail, browse websites, buy online, watch videos, work with charts and do other tasks - you won't need an outlet. MacBook Air can entertain you with movies up to 13 hours without interruption.
Thunderbolt 3 combines the highest bandwidth with the functionality of the USB-C interface. The result is a high-speed and universal port. And MacBook Air even has two. The Thunderbolt 3 port allows you to transfer data, charge devices and output video to additional monitors via the same connector. At the same time, it can reach speeds up to 40 Gbps - twice as fast as Thunderbolt 2. Your devices can be easily connected with just one cable or cable with an adapter. The Thunderbolt 3 port is two-way, so you don't have to think where the top is and where the bottom is.
MacBook Air sounds even better with new sound processing and tuning technologies. With stereo speakers, the bass is doubled and the volume is up to 25 percent higher than the previous generation. With the high-resolution FaceTime camera, your friends and family can see you more clearly when making personal or group calls. And three microphones make your voice even clearer when you make a FaceTime call, use dictation and say commands for Siri.
