The closer the fall and the more new products Apple presents, the more public interest in the iPhone 12, which, according to tradition, should go on sale this year. For several years, the Internet has been full of rumors about new iPhones, and each time they turn out to be more or less reliable. What is already known about the next generation of famous phones?
Now it is impossible to predict when the iPhone 12 will be available, but there are minimal ideas about its appearance and characteristics. According to some reports, the new line will have four models at once - two budget and two flagship. They are unlikely to look very different from the iPhone 11 and iPhone X in appearance, but with the display size the company seems to want to please everyone. So the younger model will have a 5.4 ”display - perfect for those who like small phones that fit perfectly in a pocket. Among the frameless models, this is the smallest version. The exact opposite will be the flagship iPhone 12 - large-screen lovers will want to buy it, because its 6.7-inch display is larger than the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The other two models will have a diagonal of 6.1 ", absolutely all of them will have the front part in the same design: a frameless screen with a" bang ", which, however, may decrease in size.
How will the budget iPhone 12 differ from the flagship? First, the body is aluminum versus stainless steel. Secondly, the number of cameras: older models will receive three cameras with LiDar technology, which allows working with augmented reality (the same technology has already been implemented in the new iPad Pro 2020). Younger models will be endowed with a dual camera, like the iPhone 11.
More serious upgrades include the 5nm A14 processor and 5G support. Also, most likely, all models will be equipped with a U1 chip, which will provide UltraWideBand and is needed to pair with AirTag search tags. This is yet to be announced new technology about Apple, which will be used to quickly and accurately search for any item on which the user installs a miniature device.
