The cult thriller has been reissued for PS4 with updated high-resolution graphics and smooth animation at 60 frames per second. High definition fonts and improved textures complete the picture.

Six years have passed since the destruction of Raccoon City and all its inhabitants, which have long ceased to be human. Leon Kennedy, who once served in the city police and went through hell during the events of Resident Evil 2, found himself a quiet job. At least, serving in the secret department under the president of the country did not cause much trouble until the head of state's daughter was kidnapped. The investigation led Leon to a godforsaken European village. It is here that he will have to find out that the slow, narrow-minded zombies are in the past - the new enemy is strong, aggressive and smart. But ... who is he?
